I'm back in Ireland to spend my last 5 days here before I go back to America next Tuesday. Leaving England was quite sad I have gotten really attached to all my family members over there and it sort of felt like I wouldn't be seeing them again for a really long time. Leaving Ireland next week will be even harder because that will make everything feel alot more permenant. Ideally I would love to live on the British Isles only go back to the states for a visit every so often, but immigration seems so hard that I don't think that will ever be possible. I'll keep trying for the foreseable future, but still focus on a few of the other goals I want to achieve in my life, such as continuing my education to a masters degree and possibly going to either California or any other state west of New Jersey to experience American life away from the Northeast for a bit. This weekend should be good, I've been organzing a last night out with all my friends over here, it will be a big send off in typical Irish fashion.

I'm writing this post from Leeds, in Yorkshire on what started out as a bright sunny day and has now turned to rain and gotten slightly chilly. Last weekend I spent 4 days in London with Damien staying at my friend Joey's apartment near Regeants Park. It was quite a treat that he was staying in such a nice area, I was imagining we would have been stuck in dormatory style rooms in a residence hall somewhere miles outside of London. Instead we were minutes away from the heart of the city staying in one of the most exclusive areas of the greatest city in the world. Life doesn't get much better than that. The night clubs that we went to were by far the best I have ever been to, and after this weekend I have new found love for house music and dj's. London is the type of place that you could spend your whole life in and never get bored with the place, after all the city is over 800 square miles in size, larger than quite a few of the caribbean islands put together. There is one thing I didn't get to do which will haunt me until I go back to London, and that was see a play in a west end theatre like I had imagined for so long. In just under 2 weeks I will be heading back to New York City another comospolitan gem, but as great as it might be it will always be second to good old Big Smoke.

My flight back to New York is at 1:30 on Tuesday the 29th of April. I'm happy to be going back for a couple reasons, but then really sad at the sametime, because I have gotten really attached to this place and really accustomed to the way of life here. I will miss living in Ireland the most probably because of how close it is to England and how easy it is to go back and forth very cheaply on ryanair and a few other european airlines literally some flights are only 1 cent. Another big reason is my friends here, relationships are so fragile in life and I feel like the older you get the harder it gets to make lasting ones. I have a feeling that the people I met here will be a part of my life forever in one form or another. As for the remaining 3 weeks I have left in Ireland, most of that time will be spent in England visiting my family and partying in London, Blackpool, and Brighton, but then once I get back to Ireland I'll have once last weekend of mayhem with my friends, which will be both fun and sad.
