I'm writing this post from Leeds, in Yorkshire on what started out as a bright sunny day and has now turned to rain and gotten slightly chilly. Last weekend I spent 4 days in London with Damien staying at my friend Joey's apartment near Regeants Park. It was quite a treat that he was staying in such a nice area, I was imagining we would have been stuck in dormatory style rooms in a residence hall somewhere miles outside of London. Instead we were minutes away from the heart of the city staying in one of the most exclusive areas of the greatest city in the world. Life doesn't get much better than that. The night clubs that we went to were by far the best I have ever been to, and after this weekend I have new found love for house music and dj's. London is the type of place that you could spend your whole life in and never get bored with the place, after all the city is over 800 square miles in size, larger than quite a few of the caribbean islands put together. There is one thing I didn't get to do which will haunt me until I go back to London, and that was see a play in a west end theatre like I had imagined for so long.
In just under 2 weeks I will be heading back to New York City another comospolitan gem, but as great as it might be it will always be second to good old Big Smoke.
