Beer pong has become the thing to do on fridays and saturday nights, which goes to show how the summer is around here. With the majority of people either at home on vacation, or studying abroad somewhere, Boston can get pretty boring during the summers here for me. This one has been pretty decent so far however, lots of drinking, lots of sitting around doing nothing, and lots of cooler days so far. I haven't been to the beach here yet, but thats mostly due to the fact that I spent 7 days on the West Coast where I have to say the beaches were nicer than almost any I have see here in New England. I'll get over my desire for posh beaches as the summer goes on however and most likely end up going to Hampton or something.
Artist number six has been one of my favorites for atleast 10 years now.
I think I write my best posts when I'm intoxicated, so here goes... kidding or am I? I have been drinking all day actually, I went to lunch this afternoon and had a few beers, then bought a bottle of vodka ( a small one) and went back to work and mixed it with OJ, Coke, and Ginger Ale, not all at the same time, but throughout the course of the day. I can't remmeber the last time I was so happy to sit at my desk and stare at a computer screen, if I could have filmed myself I think I spent the last two hours of the day with a huge grin on my face. For 2 reasons, one I felt like I was fucking "the man" over and two, I was in my natural element. Correction still am in my natural element.
Artist number 7 is a special collection of people better known as ...
I know you can get in serious trouble for posting things about places of employment, but I absolutely have to post the latest news. So I was sitting in my bosses office yesterday and we were just talking about sports and stuff, and out of no where he said, "so you can tell me the truth, have you ever smoked pot." I didn't know what to say, like he might be the coolest guy in his 40's ever, but he is still my manager so I did the honorable thing and pleaded the 5th. Of course with a huge grin on my face so I'm sure he got the picture.
Moving on to the next artist on my countdown, number 8
Brazil played there first match in the World Cup today. Personally I'm hoping that they don't make it out of the first round, but they got things started well today as there only goal came from the mid-fielder Kaká. Everyone knows about Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, but perhaps if they are going to win the Cup again it will be thier mid-fielder who becomes the team's star. There are still 4 more weeks left before the winner is decided, stay tuned.
Continuing the countdown, coming in at number 9 is no other than... 9.) Jay -Z

I'm so disoriented being back here in Mass, I have never felt this way after coming back from anywhere before. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that it is June 7th and the tempurature here in Mass is 54 degrees and it is raining once again. Now I don't mind the cold weather at all, I just don't expect it to last until the middle of June. If I'm expecting it to be cold I'm fine with it, but when I go outside to the supermarket in shorts and my legs feel frostbitten in June we have ourselves a problem. And Yes I own my fits pair of shorts. Now its time to continue with the countdown of the 100 greatest musical artists of alltime.

This will probably be the longest post I'll ever write. So my trip to San Diego was one of the best trips I have ever taken. I'm still so excited by it I don't know where to start. Josh and I flew over to San Diego on Saturday, and in the time we were there, I met so many cool people and did so many interesting things. When we arrived on Saturday we got picked up by my friend Jeff C. from the airport and then drove over to Ocean Beach where one of his friends lived, and proceeded to have the most Californiafied night of my life. Then the next day we took a trip to Coronado which is the beach in the picture above, the beach was gorgeous I can only compare it to the beaches that I've seen in Barbados. That night we didn't really have anything planned so we just hung out in the gaslamp area of the city and there was so much going on it was amazing. Then we went to Mission Beach on Memorial day, which was so packed with people that we could barely walk around, the fact that MTV's beach house is there, probably had something to do with that as well. The next day we went to a Padres baseball game, which was great, the pitcher Chris Young took a no-hitter into the 8th inning. A day at Balboa Park with the Museums and exhibits was next up on the list, followed by a pub crawl that night. The entire vacation took a turn that night, it went from being a tour of San Diego to a drunken adventure. From that point on I hung out with a group of Irish guys, and 2 Irish girls who were traveling around the United States, and then on to Fiji and Australia. The Irish really know how to have a good time when they travel, I must admit. It was like me and Jeff B. in Toronto all over again from that point on. The connections that were made over the last few days were incredible, I made a few new friends and one of the things that makes me travel somewhere is usually if I know some there. I know about 15 people in Cork, Ireland now, so it won't be too long before that is a destination that I will be seeking to visit. By the time it was time to come back to Boston, I had just started to get going in San Diego, I wish I knew it was going to be like that, I would have planned to stay for a little bit longer. I also took a trip down to Tijuana while I was there, but it wasn't really what I was expecting it was a big tourist trap, all kinds of venders looking for American dollars. I would like to go back to Mexico at some point as well, but not to Tijuana, perhaps Mexcio City or Peurto Vallarta. I will finish my countdown of the 100 greatest music artist in my next blog, I am exhausted right now, and I need dinner. So on that note Kudos to the city of San Diego, now included on the list of my favorite cities.
