My birthday was last Wednesday, can't believe I am already 28 years old. I remember when 21 seemed really far away, back in the days when I couldn't legally go out to bars and clubs yet in America. It was a quiet birthday, I received two birthday cards in the mail, one from my mother and one from Lucas, then I also got two really cool ones from my housemates here in Ireland. Since it was a Wednesday night we waited until Saturday to go out. It was such a good night, as is typical here in Ireland went out with just one friend and came home having made 3 or 4 new ones.
One thing that is quite surprising to me is just how International Dublin really is. I was walking through Trinity College the other day on my way to Grafton Street and I swear in that 10 minute walk I heard at least 4 different languages being spoken. I guess I never noticed it before, cause until now I didn't spend so much time in the city centre either.
In other news Antoine is coming to visit from Korea on Friday. We have lots of stuff planned for when he arrives which may include trips to Cork, Belfast, Galway, and London in the next 2 weeks so stay tuned...
