This past weekend I started to look for a new apartment in San Diego. I found one that I really liked right on the border of North Park and Hillcrest. The place has a great view, and is very inexpensive compared to what I'm paying now. I have to submit the application and cross my fingers, I hope to hear back from them as soon as possible.
Last weekend I went to visit my parents in Florida and had a really good time. I spent most of the time hanging out with my brother and his friends. He has formed a nice group of friends in the 5 months he has lived in Florida. They all want to come out to California to visit and I would be more than glad to have them out. Judging by my past experiences, when I have people visiting me is when I get to fully enjoy the places I have lived the most. When I was in Ireland, when I had Shea and Josh visit me during the summer of 2007, I really had a good time, taking them around and enjoying the nightlife. In a really strange way, having them visit me validated me being there, so I'm ready to welcome a few visitors out here to Cali.
In other news, I have been listening to Kind of Blue by Miles Davis and it has slowly climbed its way onto my list of best albums of all time. It was made in 1959 so I'm a little bit late with this one, but I highly recommend having a listen to it.  ¶ 10:56 AM
