This is Super Bowl weekend here in America, and from what I have seen Southern Californians seem to be split over the Cardinals and Steelers. I will probably watch the game because its the only football game I typically watch every year. In case you haven't guessed I'm not a big fan of the sport, theres just something about it, I never got into. Since I usually cheer for the underdog I hope the Cardinals pull off the upset.
The bigger spectacle will take place a few hours earlier and a couple thousand miles away in Melbourne, Australia. The Australian Open final will see Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal go head to head in there 7th Grand Slam final. Nadal has beaten Federer four times when they meet in the final of one of the Grand Slams, if he can make it five wins he will be one U.S. Open away from completing a career grand slam. Vamos Rafa!!!
I went out apartment searching last weekend and found a place that was amazing all around. The location was perfect, the complex was beautiful, and everything seemed to fit in well with what I was looking for. I made sure the fill out the application and get it back to the owner as soon as possible. It took him a few days to get back to me and when he did he said that he decided to go with someone else. He didn't really give a good explanation as to why except to say that the other person got there application in at the same time as mine. Instantly plan B went into effect and within 24 hours I had another apartment lined up. Whenever something like this happens it makes me glad that I'm OCD about things.
