Last weekend I went to Galway for the first time, and realized that Cork is one of my least favorite cities in Ireland. I have now seen the 5 biggest cities in Ireland, and I would have to rank them as follows.
1.)
Dublin - has everything New York or London has just on a slightly smaller scale.
2.)
Galway - small medieval looking city centre, with a nightlife that is amazing.
3.)
Waterford - the smallest of all the cities in Ireland, but has a nice water front.
4.)
Cork - Exactly what I would expect and Irish city to look like. Really cool Pubs!
5.)
Limerick - Has an undeserving history of being a dangerous place.
Just a quick update-
My friend Shea from Massachusetts is still in Ireland, and has been here since May 15th. he decided to stay longer because he had such a good time during his first two weeks. However since I wasn't planning on him staying this long I spent alot of money during his first two weeks here entertaining him, and now I'm still recovering.
I think he also thought it was going to be an entire summer of none stop fun, but reality has set in I think, as I went back to work, and have been really involved in a few projects for work, so I haven't had time to hangout at all. I've probably seen him for about 24 hours total during his last 2 weeks here, as opposed to all day everyday during his 1st two weeks.
