The longer you stay in one place the more you learn about it, and generally the more you want to be some place else because you find the flaws in the place that you are. Most people wish to be on a tropical island, in the warm weather, nice beaches, and care-free enviroment. If it was really like that, I don't think my mum would have ever left Barbados.
Having said all that, Ireland seems to be as good a fit as anywhere for me, as a person who enjoys politics, history, and sport. This place seems to have the right combination of all three.
In fact all that is missing from making me the happiest person around, is a million dollar flat in Dublin.
P.S. the weather is really shitty right now, loads of rain and wind kind of reminds me of spring in Boston.
