The World According to Shawn

Before Josh and I left for San Diego, he mentioned to me that he had intentions of doing a trip around Europe in the Summer of 2007. Now if it was anyone except Josh I would have taken it as just meaningless banter, but he has put together his plans and is actually coming in July. I'm excited about him coming over, which will make me expedite my decision on whether or not I am going to move up to Dublin for the summer. I have been thinking about it alot lately, for multiple different reasons, but most importantly workwise. The visa I have now will be good until September 28th if I go ahead and complete the final leg of it, so I'm considering doing that now, more than ever before. :)

Blackpool turned out to be a great time, so far I've had my best nights out over in England. I came back in to Ireland last Monday, and got my visa renewed for another 4 months over here, so now I will be in Ireland atleast until June 12th.

Since I have been back I have started looking for a new job, something a bit closer to what I want to do eventually with my degree, not that I even want to be a journalist. Because i decided a few months ago that I want to teach history, but anything than working in a newspaper printing office is closer to that. I want to go back to university and study history for a master's degree, but I am enjoying my time out of school for now. I hope to go back within the next 2 years however, somplace like the Nottingham University, which is now the most popular university in the UK, and has a stellar history department.

Tomorrow is the last day of work and then its off to England again, for a few days in sunny ole' Blackpool.
I am in a bit of a funk as of late but I think I have done a good job of covering it up. People are so unreliable in almost all situations especially when it comes to matters that won't advance there own personal wealth. I am at a complete lost as of what to do about extending my stay in Europe, well I mean I've had a few ideas so far, but nothing that the Mexcians haven't thought of when trying to get into the United States.
I don't understand why law abiding people aren't allowed to go where they want, when they want and work. If anything those rights should be taken away from you after you have been convicted of a crime. Well thats my views on it anyway, but what do I know.
