Now that I have another moment to write I will take this time out to tell you all about my stay here in Ireland so far.
I am staying in Ballyphehane, which when I saw it written down looked like it was going to be impossible to pronounce correctly. It is a suburb of Cork City, which is the second largest city in Ireland next to Dublin. Compared to American cities however it looks like a village. The downtown area is very small and compact, but it is the sprawling suburban area that makes Cork so large. St. Patrick Street is the main drag with alot of designer shops and resturants. The streets surrounding Patrick Street are packed with nightclubs and pubs. If you are looking for the perfect night to go out on the town and see the true power of the masses, Thursday would be the night to head out. The entire city is turned into an 18 - 25 year old's paradise. I myself didn't realize just how many college aged students Cork had until I went out a couple Thursday nights ago.
The house that I am staying in is very nice, really modern looking place with almost everything in the house bought from Ikea. The walk into Cork City is about 25 minutes from there. I wouldn't mind finding a place a little bit closer to the city centre, but like everything else in life that cost money, something which I always seem to be short of.
