When I was alot younger, like around the time I started kindergarten television became my best friend. My relationship with TV has had its ups and downs. It has hit a notable highpoint once again. Sitcoms on TV haven't been the same since Seinfeld went off the air back in the late 90's. The shows that are on now, are much different but just as entertaining.
Curb Your Enthusiasm - Brilliant
The Shield - The most violence, that regular cable will allow
Weeds - I think I have actually been to Agrestic
Lost - I've been hooked since the first episode, and I hate Hurley.
Desperate Housewives - Only the first season was good
Entourage - I believe I went to elementary school with Turtle
Family Guy - the only animated one that gets my vote
I can't think of anymore right now but there are a couple more shows that I love watching, and speaking of love. Flavor of Love is the funniest reality show I have ever seen, check it out.
