I went to my friend Kayla's this weekend for another crazy ass party at the Carpenters house. This time they actually reffered to it as CarpenterFest II, and had t-shirts made for the party, pretty insane huh? It ended up being a fun night, I slept out in the woods in a tent and it was actually more comfortabel than sleeping in my own bed. I found that very surprising.
So only 10 more days left here in Boston, I'm thinking about pushing the date of my party up from the 25th to this coming friday, just for shits and giggles, also because I'm sure I'll be busy packing next friday night and won't want to deal with people. We shall see what happens with this whole things however. I have been feeling the need to start another countdown lately, and now I understandwhy VH1 just won't quite doing them, they are easy and self gratifying. I'll think of a good one in the next few days and start that one soon.

I never would have imagined that the American public is so dumb. USA Today did a poll on there website and got over 30,000 responses, now I'm sure it wasn't an accurate demographic of the American public, but still 50% of the people said that they still believe that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. Where have these fucking people been living, there was a 16 month search for the weapons in Iraq and it came up with nothing, except that in 1991 Iraq actually did disband its nuclear program, and the United Nations was telling the truth when they did there search in 2002 and came up with nothing. I was so shocked and I kind of still am that people can be that stupid. The article also said that the people who said they still believe Iraq has WMD are probably just trying to justify the war in there minds. I don't know if I agree with that or if I agree with anything, I just know that it is a sad sad day in American history when people are forcing themselves to be naive.

The other day I broke down and went out to purchase an air conditioner. I absolutely hate the window unit AC's, but it was over 100 degrees for 2 days in a row, and I thought I was going to die the first night I tried to sleep in that insane tempurature, so the next day there I was standing in line holding a Goldstar Air Conditioner from BestBuy perhaps the biggest hypocrite in the entire store, because only weeks ago I said that I would never buy one of this things as long as I lived. When I handed the cashier my credit card a small part of me died as I was going to walk out of this store holding one of the most necessary things I had ever bought. I just can't deal with 100 degree weather at all, so I was more than thankful that the week I was in Texas it was in the 80's and low 90's the entire time.

25 more days in Boston, that is all I have left. It didn't even hit me until about a week ago that I was actually leaving this place. I just assumed like every other time that I left I would be coming back. The truth is, this is way different then every other time I went home or left Boston, mainly because I had Northeastern as the major staple in my life that kept me coming back. Now with no more Northeastern in my life, I suppose Boston has become somewhat useless to me. I use the word useless simply for lack of a better word. I suppose one-dimensional could also fit in this context, because with a few of my very good friends remaining here in Boston it is perhaps the only reason to come back for a visit from time to time.
Now its time for number one, this was probably the easiest one to guest for thos of you playing along at home. Simply because if you read through the other 99 artists you may have asked yourself where are "_______". Well here they are my favorite and I think the greatest boy band of all-time. I must admit I fell victim to all the nostalgia that was going on in the late 1990's surrounding this band. I couldn't turn on the television without seeing either old footage of them on the Ed Sullivan show, or infommercials at night trying to sell me there 4 disc box sets. Out of all of that I became a huge fan of the band that I think started our love of music from the other side of the pond.
