So, the news has led off with the story of whats going on in Lebanon for the past 2 weeks, I have been trying not to write about that situation for a while because alot of things about it really bother me. I can't tell if Americans have generally stopped caring about what happens in the Middle-East or if they really just support Isreal in whatever they do. Call me whatever you want, but Isreal has to much power and they are at fault for using unnessecary force in every situation they have been involved in for the past few years. They remind me of someone I went to high school with, who's name I won't say. He was really short and by short I mean even shorter than me, and felt that he had to be a dick to everyone in order to get noticed.
Artist number 2, I must admit I wasn't always a fan of. I only listened to the first song by his band back in 2001. I had no idea that "Brick" was about an abortion that he had with his high school sweetheart. None-the-less I gradually became a fan, and since then I have seen him perform live once and it was the best live performance I've ever seen. His solo albums are amazing, and while he gets compared to Elton John alot, I think he is a little more talented on the piano than John is.
