I must start my blog this week by congratulating the Northeastern University Police on a job well done this past Saturday night. You know people always make fun of them and say things like they aren't real cops and thats where you end up when you aren't good enought to cut it on a real police force. I have to stand up for my friends the NUPD and say, those acussations are absolutley true. It's the Next, Next best thing to being a State Police officer isn't it? I mean if you can't get out there and help save lives and stop drug dealers and other important things, that only the finest police officers handle, you may as well stop 20 year olds from drinking alcohol and stop there 22 year old alcohol suppliers. You really are making this world a different place in the job that you guys do, because I don't know what I would do if I had to live in a world where an 18 year old was allowed to have a beer on a saturday night. I mean it would cause total and complete chaos, I always say that an 18 year old who drinks is prone to growing up to be a 36 year old who rapes, murders, and commits arson. Look at all those foriegn country's where the drinking age is 18, they are all in dire need of changing that age to 21. So they can all grow up and be fine and outstanding members of society just like you guys on the NUPD force. And to my friends who have called you guys scumbags for everything you guys do, shame on them! Isn't it great that we live in a country where you can speak your mind about anything and eveythting you feel like. Well enough of the bullshit, I've had a hatred for police officers for years, but this Saturday night just confirmed that reason to me even more. I am in no way shape and form saying that I am innocent in the situation that took place. But I am saying that I never have nor never will adhere to the law that it is wrong for someone under the age of 21 to drink alcohol. Call me unpatriotic, call me un-American, call me whatever you will, but I have always and will always think it is the dumbest law in America. Just because someone is 21 or 22 years old doesn't mean that they are going to be a responsible drinker, case and point myself. I know far more people under the age of 21 who drink more responsibly than myself. Why would state legislatures assume that Americans are that more irresponsible than German, Dutch or Canadian citizens just to name a few. I'm baffled can someone help?

Pictures from this party, it seems will keep surfacing for a while. These two pictures I have found in Esther's facebook album are from Dave and Berd's party. Esther is the beautiful girl that you can see in the picture on your left. Why she is hugging that ugly kid and not me is baffling. Actually I don't think I would hug me either, when I'm doing an impression of Chris Rock for the camera. The kid she is hugging is none other than Michael MacDonald, and the other badass mofo in the picture to the right is Sir Andrew Berry(Berd) himself. Moving on to other things, it would seem that classes this semester are all the same. Lectures that will not appear on the exams, and readings that will. I will do fine if I just can muster up the motivation to read all of my chapters in Psychology, Native North Americans, and 20th Century Music.

Yes, I looked absolutley rediculous on Saturday night. I joined the list of famous douche-bags who wear pink polos to parties. The glasses weren't a part of the costume all night, but the popped collar did manage to stick around the entire time. Wow, should I even have pictures of myself drinking beer on this site anymore... because employers might start looking at my website and this would be a bad first impression. well atleast you can't see the name of the beer I'm drinking so its not like I'm giving Miller light any free advertising... : )

This has been the most bizzare January that I can remember. Today the weather got up to somewhere in the low 60's, perfect weather for walking around holding hands with your lovers. Did I sound like a radio DJ there? Becasue thats not what I was going for or anything. In any case if you haven't been out yet today, I would recommend making the most of it tonight.

In what has turned out to be an interesting first week of classes in this semester, I found myself drunker than I have been in quite sometime last night. Not that I was ever a subscriber to drinking in moderation or anything, but last night I drank quite a few Miller High lifes, and then had one shot of tequilla that I blame for sending me over the edge. I really do hate tequilla, no matter what company makes it, the thing still taste like death in a bottle. I would like to say that I will never drink it again, but that might be a lie.

I have somehow managed to pull off the easiest schedule of my entire college career in my last semester as a college student. I have Tuesdays and Fridays off this time around, and it works out well because this coming weekend I get a 5 day weekend. I'm excited to enter my last semester, at first I was a little sad because I have enjoyed college so much, but now I'm starting to feel like its about time to do something else. What that something else is, I have no idea.

I'm back from Las Vegas, and that city was alot different than I expected. Infact it isn't really much of a city at all. The Strip encompasses about 98 % of the stuff to do there. If you aren't going to gamble I would say its a waste of time. The Hotels and Casinos are beautiful on the outside but all about the samething on the inside, in every corner of each place there is a way to get as much money from you as possible. I found it a little sickening after about 24 hours and I wished I was back here in Boston. We stayed in a hotel called the Monte Carlo, and it is usually one of the more expensive ones to stay at, but we got pretty good discounted prices, which allowed us to blow more money at there tables. Overall Las Vegas is probably the most uninteresting new place I have ever visted. The chances that I will ever go again are slim to none.

Happy New Years to you all. I went to a sick New Years party last night. Sal's parties are generally hit or miss and this one was a hit. I met a few interesting characters some of which I'm sure I will see again. In a couple of hours I'm leaving for Las Vegas with my friend Jeff and his friend Andy. This is the second time that I'm going to be traveling somewhere with Jeff and I'm not worried about having a good time at all, I think the two of us can brew up some trouble in the City of Sin.
