A Little over a 3 weeks ago Malcolm Glazer the owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers became the majority owner of Manchester United. The take-over of the team was quite hostile. The fans who own 10 percent of the company through stocks have been openly complaining about Glazer trying to gain control of the team for more than a year. The other owners weren't willing to sell there stake in the organization a year ago at all. I'm curious to know what changed there minds and how he persuaded them to sell there stock in the team. In any case this is a terrible event, he is already making plans to cut the teams budget and possibly move them to a new Stadium. To put this in perspective for you non-soccer fans. This is the equilavent of a man from Mexico buying either the Red Sox or Yankees and moving them into new stadiums and pretty much turning them into the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Manchester United has played in Old Trafford since 1898 and has been the most successful Premiership team in the 20th Century, to say that Glazer buying the team is a travesty is an understatment. Way to go making Americans look like power hungry capitalists once again Malcolm.

The rain has finally stopped at least for a day. The entire month of May was just a "wash", hahaha, well I thought it was funny anyway. I wish I could enjoy this long weekend, but I put my work off until now, and its all starting to catch up to me. Chances are I will be stuck in Snell library all day tomorrow and Monday. I will most likely take a break and go to Avalon tomorrow night, clubs are always fun on the long weekends.

It is only 8 days away from Memorial Day and the weather has been horible so far this May. Its has rained atleast one day every weekend for the last 5 weeks. The tempurature never really got above 60 degrees for the entire month either. I was wrong when I predicted sunny days a little over a month ago. I don't think this is weather to go camping in so I'm putting off the trip till later in the summer.
This weekend was a rather boring one, I didn't do much except go see my friend Dustin's art show, which was cool. I didn't get much of anything done really, homework included. Oh Jeez, I just remembered I have a discussion day paper due, time to start working on that.

Even Superman cries sometimes. Everyone has a human side and in sticking with my comic book theme everyone has a kryptonite. In a strange turn of events someone who I thought was made of Iron revealed there human side to me. Its a great thing however, because now perhaps this will make us even better friends.

Seems like the summer weather is approaching quickly, the days are getting nicer and the fact that its 8 p.m. right now and the sun is still is great. I'm visiting Connecticut this weekend, it should be a good time. I will be right near my grandparents so maybe I'll stop in and say hi.

I've started making plans to go camping during Memorial Day weekend. I have never been offically camping since I have never slept in a tent. I did stay in a cabin last summer on Lake Sunapee which I thought was camping until I was informed otherwise. Anyone have any ideas of cool places to go to?

What a trip, probably the best week of my life. Started out in NYC for a night, then spent the next night at Syracuse University getting hammered. Continued on to Toronto where it was 4 straight nights of bar-hopping, clubbing, and meeting all kinds of people. Then we went to the party Mecca of the East Coast, Montreal for a night and it was insane. Now I'm back in Boston waiting for school to start back on Tuesday and still amazed at how great this road trip was.
