2004 was my first year of full-time shaving. Before this my facial hair grew really slowly and I only had to trim it like once a month. My facial hair has somehow picked up the pace and it now grows like crazy, I have to shave once every 3 days. All of this probably should have happened to me when I was 16 like normal guys, but the fact that it happened now that I'm 21, gives me hope that I can still grow another 4 or 5 inches.

In a few days I will be back in Boston and I won't have my computer up and running for a couple days. I will have to rely on Snell Library's computer lab for a couple of days. My friend Peter from MN, might be coming to Boston as well next week. It won't be very entertaining at my place however, so I'll have to rely on the city of Boston providing entertainment for both of us.

The 3 movies for $20 were Dodge ball, Napoleon Dynamite, and Garden State. Best Buy was all sold out of them when I went today. Instead I just bought a copy of Napoleon Dynamite, which is worth the $20 anyway.
I feel like I should go into NYC again before I go back to Boston, and go to the bars or clubs or something. Thursday night sounds like a good night to do that. Don't you think?
¶ 10:03 PM
I want to buy the Naoplean Dynamite box set from Best Buy. It comes with two other movies one of them is Dodgeball and if you know what the other one is, please let me know. I've been trying to find out every since Jeff Allen called me last night, and we were trying to figure out what the third movie is.
- 5 days left before I'm back in Boston.

Merry Christmas! I used to like Christmas a hell of a lot more than I do now-a-days. It used to be my favorite holiday, I even liked it better than my birthday. It has gotten to the point now where I wouldn't care if we didn't celebrate it in my house anymore. I spend so much money buying Christmas gifts and preparing for a day which isn't any longer than the next. I'd like to say that I won't go through the same ritual next year, but I'm a huge sucker and probably will. Only 7 days left in Jersey by the way, then its back to Boston, where I will be living in West Village. Ever since I was a freshmen, I wanted to live in West Village, and now after Stetson East, Davenport B, Mission Hill, and Orange, NJ, I get to live there.

Hunter Mountain was so much fun, for the second winter in a row. I skiied the beginners section as if I had been skiing for years. Then I was a bit challenged by the intermediate zones or the blue squares. I took my friend Justin with me this time, and we stayed at Kayla's. I am always amazed at how removed from the rest of civilization she is. The train ride up was amazing as well. We took the Metro-North from Grand Central station, which hugs the east side of the Hudson river the entire way up. The houses and institutions that you pass are some of the most beautiful pieces of architecture that the East Coast has to offer. I got to go to the top of Hunter Mountain this time, and the view from the top was even better than I had ever pictured it would be. I can say that I definitley want to live in an area where mountains, lakes, and ski resorts are 20 - 25 minutes away from me. I can also classify myself as a skier now, since I've done it more than once.

Ever since I went skiing this January, I have wanted to go again. Looks like I will finally get my chance to go again sometime in the next few weeks. Hunter opened a few weeks ago now, and it appears as if I'll get to go early next week. Monday and Tuesday look like my best shot at going, Kayla said Tim and Hamel might also make an appearance this time which would be amazing. I don't expect the same good luck I had last year however. I was even surprised that on my first day I only fell about 3 or 4 times and they were never that bad. I have probably jinxed myself and now I will break an arm.

I had a good time in Boston this week. I signed up for classes and hung out with the crew. I went to the "Squealing Pig" and "Conor Larkins" while I was there. I like going to bars when I'm a tourist in a town, but I don't know how inclined I will be to go to bars once I live in Boston again. I have only gone to the bars in New York twice since I have been at home, not because its not fun, but just because I've lived in this area almost my whole life so it doesn't feel like I've accomplished anything when I go. Wierd isn't it? The bars scene in Montreal takes the cake for me so far, I won't mind being there tonight.

Breaking News: I'm coming back to Boston, and Northeastern. I signed up for classes today, and I'm paying my housing deposit tomorrow. I never thought I would be back but, after speaking with all the right people ( NU Shuffle ), I would be a fool not to come back. I only have 2 full semesters left, but I could stretch it out to 3 if I only take 3 classes in both semesters. My goal when I left in the summer was to complete the co-op and then transfer to a different school. After extensive hours of research, I have come to the conclusion that I would not benefit from going to another school simply because its not initially clear how many credits would transfer. I can't remember the last time that I wrote two blogs in the same day.
¶ 3:27 PM
I'm writing this blog from Boston, specifically Snell Library. I somehow failed to mention that last Friday night I was stopped by a police officer in Glen Ridge. I had just come from Justin's house where I was drinking beer. I picked up my friend Steven, and then was caught going 50 in a 25. Now it's true I tend to get a little heavy footed even after one beer, the fact that the cop let me go with just a warning was the best thing ever. I was suppose to meet Rick and Eric in Philadelphia, things didn't work out that way, and I ended up not even making it out of Jersey that night. I should have just driven down by myself, but I was looking for someone to come along for the ride with me, and thats what stalled the process. I haven't seen Rick since last New Year's Eve, and I rarely see Eric anymore, I really wish I went now.

Yesterday, me and Justin spent the entire day at Wawayanda State park. The main attraction is a huge lake at the top of a mountain. We wanted to go boating, but its obviously not boating season, and even though it was about 60 degrees out yesterday, the water temperature must not have been more than 40 degrees. The park is in such a remote section of Jersey, that it looks as if your in another state. The air is fresh, the water was crystal blue, and the people were nice, well this surely can't be New Jersey you say. Next time I go back I want to hike around the entire lake, which seems to be about 3 or 4 miles.
