Monday Bloody Monday, my last week relaxing, beforeI start to work. After an entire summer of sitting around I welcome work with open arms right now. I should have had a job since June, well then things wouldn't have changed so drastically. I'm not sure if thats a good or bad thing yet.

The New York Mets lost, that was not very surprising seeing that the team they are playing with is minor league quality. No Mike Piazza, No Kaz Matsui, No Jose Reyes, and No decent starting pitching outside of two nearly 37 year olds. Well hopefully I can go to another Mets game before the season is over.

My cousin Andrew is visiting from England for a couple of days, I haven't seen him in 3 years, so its nice to hang out with him now. On Monday we are going to a Mets game, this will only be my second baseball game of the year and only my 6th overall. Earlier this year I saw the Red Sox beat the Dodgers, I must have been the only person in Fenway Park routing for the Dodgers. I wanted to see Eric Gagne pitch because it was before he had ended his record 83 saves in a row or whatever it was. I'm such a dork for knowing that, Well I'm off to New York City right now, will chat to you later.

Its been about 5 days now that I have been in New Jersey, no I'm not completely bored with being at home yet. I have been keeping busy, with little odds an ends. I can't wait to start working it will get me out of the house everyday and best of all I'll be getting paid for it.

So after 2 years and many failed attempts, I made it to Montreal. I can say that I haven't been to a large city in Canada that I haven't liked. Montreal was way different from Toronto, but it was the uniqueness that made it so amazing to me. The fact that those two cities are only 5 hours away, yet one was largely influenced by the French and the other by the English. I'm actually glad that I didn't end up going all those other times now however. I wouldn't have appreciated it as much, because the only reason I wanted to go 2 years ago was so I could drink and go barhopping. I did alot of walking and saw most the city, I took pictures of what I saw unitl the battery in my camera died of course. While I did go to two bars and a strip club, I didn't drink nearly as much as I would have in the past. I bought two beers and recived a 3rd one for free. The Verdict on Montreal is that its a great city, and I would definitley like to visit it again sometime, when I have more money, and more free time as for now au revoir.

So, I find myself in familiar territory. Last summer I was miserable working at the registrar's office, and I was saved by the job that I landed in New Jersey. Well it appears that September is only a few weeks away, and I can take a higher position at the same company again. Working as an assistant magazine editor isn't what I ultimately want to do, but it sure as hell beats sitting around in my apartment here in Boston everyday. So I guess its farewell Bostonians until January once again.
