Hey so I'm writing to you from Jersey, yes alot has happened in the past month and a half. My co-op job was a huge bust in Boston, I ended up working at Northeastern University's Registrars Office. Second to last on the list of jobs that I've ever had. Now my co-op advisor has set me up with a couple of interviews in Manhattan, working in NYC has always been a goal of mine. Theres just something about the hustle and bustle of the morning rush hour into the city that fascinates me. Well I don't have the job yet so I can't get to excited.
Last week I went on a trip to Syracuse with my friend Ryan. We left Boston on Sunday afternoon and it took until about 10 p.m. that night to get to Syracuse. The school was just as I remembered it, huge and full of parties even on a sunday night. We made the rounds with two girls Christine and Rachel, before ending up back in there dorms for the night. The drinking was insane at this place. I didn't do to much drinking however because I started to feel sick on the trip there. Monday went by and my condition worstened, by Tuesday I couldn't get out of bed, I was so happy when Wednesday came around and it was time to go home. I went right to the Hospital when I got back to Boston, the doctors told me I had swollen tonsils and would have to have them remove. I spent the day in hospital and had only one removed the one that was the problem the doctors said. "Drink lots of water, and eat Jello," they said as they discharged me prematurely. I went back to 76 calumet that night and went fast asleep in the living room. I spent the next 15 or 16 hours in there just sleeping. I knew that there wassomething else wrong with me because I was running a fever of 105. I checked myself back into the hospital the very next morning. Thats when I found out I had mononucleocitosis ( The Kissing Disease). Jeff and Jessica drove me home on Friday and thats how I find myself in the great state of NJ once again.
